We rode down Laxárdalur for the first time, because of the ingathering of horses taking place there. As horse owners in Blönduós, it is only fitting we try participating in this activity at least once. We rode from Strjúgsskarð in Langadalur to Skrapatungurétt, along side a number of people, both foreign and icelandic. It was rather cold, but all in all, an excelent journey. It was fun being “turist” in such a trip. Today the horses were sorted to their rightful owners, at Skrapatungurétt. We took a quick look at the sorting, and took some pictures, which can be seen at our picture album.
