Víðir bought himself a new horse few days ago. That is a son of Kormákur frá Flugumýri, named Börkur frá Brekkukoti. Víðir broke this horse in last year, and this fall he trained him into tölt. Although Börkur is only four or five months trained, he is 8 years of age already. Víðir bought the horse from Gísli Geirsson, a farmer in Mosfell. Víðir is in hopes that Börkur will be ready for the competition tracks next summer or winter. Börkur is a very promising horse. In the picture are Víðir and Börkur last fall.
