Well, it was only a matter of time before this happened....... This is the view of our garden this morning. We had planned to go to Víðidalstungurétt today, but didn't since our car is not yet equipped for winter, as most of our horses are as well actually. The good news though are that the new floor in the riding hall is finished. There is a world of difference having horses in the hall these days! The floor is soft enough now, and is good for the horses. We will have to wait and see what will happen to the floor through continuous use; if it will harden, or if it will keep the status quo. It is priceless to have a functional riding hall in bad weather days like these. All organization gets easier and there is less stress for us trainers, as the training is less controled by the weather than it would be otherwise.
